The Ultimate French Dip Sliders Recipe

These French Dip Sliders feature tender, seasoned roast beef complemented by gooey cheese and served on soft, buttery rolls. The taste is savory and satisfying, with a perfect balance of richness from the beef and cheese, combined with the warm, flavorful au jus for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 pounds thinly sliced roast beef
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Au Jus: In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium until warm.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Layer the roast beef evenly over the buns and top with provolone cheese slices. Place the top halves of the buns on.
  4. Butter the Buns: Brush the tops of the assembled sliders with the melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with the au jus for dipping and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
